TORVEX PLUS

TORVEX PLUS is a combination diuretic therapy that provides synergistic benefits in managing fluid retention and hypertension. Torsemide promotes effective fluid excretion while Spironolactone helps conserve potassium, reducing the risk of hypokalemia.

COMPOSITION:

• Torsemide 20 mg + Spironolactone 50 mg

MODE OF ACTION:

• Torsemide inhibits the Na+/K+/2Cl- symporter in the loop of Henle, promoting sodium, chloride, and water excretion.
• Spironolactone is an aldosterone antagonist that prevents potassium loss while enhancing the diuretic effect.

INDICATIONS:

• Management of edema in heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or renal disorders.
• Adjunct therapy for hypertension.
• Patients requiring potassium-sparing diuretic therapy.

DOSAGE:

• Recommended dose: 1 tablet once daily, or as prescribed.
• Dose adjustments may be required based on clinical response and electrolyte monitoring.
